"There was a family mart and 7-11 within walking distance. Easy access to two train stations. Also close to a steak house open in the evenings. It was easy to access, a great size for families and a safe location."

"This place was amazing! The directions to get to it were so well thought out by the host, we were initially worried, but the host made it so easy! The place is in a great location. Very clean, safe, and close to the metro. I am so glad I booked this place and would recommend it to anyone! "

"Clean small apartment - walkable to a bustling part of the city. Shinjuku is an exciting area and just outside of the east station exit is a bit like vegas-meets-NY. I knew the area was active but I did not realize this apartment was smack in the middle of the night life (host bars, love hotels, etc) part of town. If that sounds like fun to you, this is a great deal. If you're looking for a family-friendly place to stay, this might not be the right move.

"The place was nice and enough room for 7 of us. Location was great as it was near train station, couple of 7-eleven, Lawson and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and would comeback again. Communication was clear and fast as well."

"Surprisingly spacious room very clean very comfortable bed but only 1 pillow. Bare amenities but can get more upon request. The included Japanese breakfast is delightful tasty and not too filling. Came at a busy time so long line for shuttle bus to terminal"
"I stayed at the Metropolitan Edmont for 12 nights in March of 2026. Check in was easy and they had the portable wifi I'd ordered ready for me to pick up. I had a superior twin and the room was very spacious compared to other stays I've had in Tokyo. The bathroom was configured per a western setup. Very good water pressure and I never ran out of hot water. The tub was comfortable too. The restaurants were expensive but good and the Family Mart across the street was very useful. The staff had no problems dealing with my requests... a forgotten key card in my room... holding my luggage after check out... arranging a cab to Haneda. Friendly, polite and able to speak English at a much better level than my poor Japanese. The room was clean and housekeeping did a very good job keeping it that way. The air conditioning was good. The room was quiet. The beds were comfortable. Several subway stations were in easy walking distance. 25 minutes to nearly everyplace... Akihabara... Shinjuku... Shibuya... Ginza... Asakusa... and so on. I go to Tokyo about once a year and I will be returning to the Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo. "
"The hotel was little further than i expected from main station especially wheelchair accessible or stroller lifts. The rooms were very tight and dated which was a contrast to all other areas in hotel."
"First things first, the shuttle was very easy to use (check their website for the pick-up locations), very quick and the driver was a cheerful older gentleman.
I got nervous at the counter but it was all done through a kiosk which was super simple and went smoothly. You actually use the same kiosk to checkout.
The room was exactly what I was expecting. In my case small. It was just me, and I donโt need a lot of space ๐. Everything was spotless and in place. I loved the bathroom, and the shower controlled by the sink tap was a new thing for me, but it makes complete sense and I loved it. Great rain shower in my suite too.
One note I will make is that my bed was shockingly hard, as was the pillow. Hard enough that I legitimately laughed out loud to myself ๐. This wasnโt actually a problem for me as I could sleep comfortably on nearly any firmness, but itโs also a preference thing. So keep it in mind.
All in all, a very quick and pleasant stay!"
"Great breakfast options. There are three restaurants that you can pick from. The location is great you can get to different train station very quickly."
