"This hotel met all my needs in terms of location and quietness. Although located in the Shibuya area of Tokyo, it was one block from the main street and surprisingly very quiet. Access to all areas of Tokyo were so easy from Shibuya. The staff were above and beyond. They always asked me about my day and what my plans were and when I returned, they always asked about my day. In terms of the room itself, it is pretty small but I believe standard for Tokyo. I did have to close my suitcase to get around but it was not really a big deal. The bed was very comfortable. A shower had good pressure. I did not have any meals at the hotel but there is a coffee shop downstairs which was excellent. All in all, I highly recommend this property for your Tokyo stay."

"Room was clean but very humid even with dehumidifier. AC faced directly to the bed even with lowest fan speed I was freezing at night. Housekeeping staff was extremely rude. Went out in the hallway to pick up stuff from her with my swimsuit on(not bikini not exposing any body parts). She basically was yelling and demanded me to return to the room immediately. Tried to educate and shaming me for wear swimsuit in an empty hallway(excused me??) Won’t return again. "

"The hotel is located on a busy road in Kyoto but once you enter the hotel the noise and congestion of the street disappears. The rooms are very modern with a Japanese theme. There is a laundry room in the basement with 4 or 5 machines but they fill very quickly. Unless you’re willing to get up early it maybe difficult to wash your clothes. I enjoyed the breakfast and they offer 6 hot meals to choose from when you first sit down. You can also order an omelette separately. This in addition to the standard buffet. There are a lot of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. You should be able to easily find something. If you are on a budget there is also a 7-11 and grocery store very close by. The only slight disappointment was the dinner. You receive a 20% discount. The food was very nice but the proportions were much smaller than I expected. "
