"Everyone was very kind and concerned about our experience. The hotel is beautiful and located on the edge of the historic area. The rooms are comfortable. They serve an amazing breakfast and tea. When on the first day, restaurant staff learned I was a vegetarian, they went and made special food for me! Then, afterwards they checked in with me to make sure I had a good selection. Quite amazing. A wonderful choice in Penang."

"The 3 bed suite we stayed was a bit tired, with frayed couches, wobbly tap fittings, average building quality, noisy air conditioner, and surprisingly no fridge in the apartment. We asked to move which was happily accommodated, and chose a 2 bed suite which had a better view, a fridge, and thankfully a quieter AC unit. The kitchens in both apartments were locked off, so there is no cutlery or sink. The pool was nice, but green around the edges. Overall it was a comfortable stay, but probably not at the standard I was expecting for the Marriott brand."

"When to celebrate my birthday and stay for 3day2night.Although they didnāt arrange anything surprise birthday cake but I still like the room and the staff was friendly.i decide to extend one more night.last day of my stay I go to enjoy the hotel spa,the front staff of the spa was very patient and helpful to explain the package,and also recommended the couple massage with Hi-tea beside the pool after massage.We are very enjoy it and also fully recommend it.will be definitely going back stay when I have back to Penang."

"Everything was excellent and I would recommend it to stay. Excellent location, about 20 minutes walk to centre of old town. Found some wonderful restaurants behind the hotel. (NK kitchen and le vie en meigui. And the main street food area is next to the hotel."
