"My husband and I stayed in a studio. It was a great size for the two of us. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, and we loved the little outdoor seating space. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. We didn’t use the pool or anything as we were too busy exploring the island but we loved our stay! "

"We had a wonderful stay at the Aston Kona By The Sea! Nearly all of the rooms have beautiful balconies with amazing views of the water. We had a spacious unit with a full size refrigerator and freezer, and with air conditioning. We texted management about something that needed their housekeeping attention, and they tried to make it right immediately. Since we were on our way out, though, they refunded us the housekeeping fee for the slight inconvenience, which I was impressed with. The location is a short drive from the busy Kailua-Kona area where there are more dining options and activities, but they have plenty of parking at the Aston. We chose to use Uber instead of renting a car, which also worked out fine. There is a nice marketplace within walking distance (Ali'i Gardens Marketplace), and the taco food truck was legit! Would definitely go back to this resort again!"

"We just needed a night prior to our one week stay and It was perfect! Upon 7pm arrival, it very warm in the unit and we panicked a bit that we couldn’t add on the $15 AC fee. So we immediately opened the windows to let air flow. Went to the pool for a little at 7:30pm and by the time we came back at 8:30pm, the unit was all cooled off. No issue at night. Comfortable beds, everything super clean, well thought. Thank you! I would 100% stay here again. Gorgeous view of the ocean, nice pool, small hot tub but there is a hot tub!! "

"Ocean front property. Three pools and barbecues very accessible. One pool is next to the ocean. Two tennis/pickleball courts. Very nice facility. "

"We had booked an air BNB not knowing that was essentially a single wall, plantation shed. I went on line and booked the Royal Kona and thoroughly enjoyed my return to luxury and civilization. Thank you for accommodating us at 11:00 pm!"
