"We booked a package through Expedia and got an ocean view suite room in the Diamond Head tower. We weren’t pleased with our room. When you walked in, it was the bedroom separated from the balcony/view. It was an absolute dungeon of a room. No windows, no natural light. The door was 2 feet from the bed. You heard everything outside. The bar with the live music, and every noise in the hallway. The living room had a pull out bed and that was where you saw the view of the ocean. We tried to get moved but had a list and didn’t get moved. If I did it again, I probably wouldn’t go through Expedia to get a nicer room. It felt like they put us on the top floor, all the way tucked back to the corner room because we booked through Expedia. Loved the location of the resort though. We stayed around the Hale Koa more than our own. Staff was super friendly. Food was insanely expensive. Shops were really cool but pricey."

"We had an excellent stay at Sheraton Waikīkī. Megumi from client relations, Janis from front desk and management were very attentive and accommodating. They went out of their way to help and made a huge difference for our experience. This was such a relaxing, romantic escape that provided a high-quality, memorable stay for us. "The staff in checking was not welcoming at all. Very dismissive which I thought was very odd for a hotel that was claiming to be luxury. Not a curated experience at all. Rooms very fine but the bathroom was very dated for that price point. Door hinges were rusting and there were water stains on the light fixtures. Was expecting a much higher end experience at that price point. Won’t be coming back"

"Everything in this place was basically the landlord special covered up paint metal on the room. Nothing was ever easy with them. It was always a hassle to get our room cleaned or even to get towels because they only do every other day service when we asked to have our room cleaned the day before we left. They told us that they would try, but there wouldn’t be any promises. Also, if you plan to be out most of the day there’s a pretty good chance that they won’t get to your room elevators are designed so badly they take forever a lot of hidden fees not even talking about the resort fees. The only good thing about this hotel was the restaurant."
