"This was a most spectacular and breathtaking place to stay. We got the top view. A bit of a hike up but so worth it. We got to lay in bed and look out to the stars, daybreak and volcanos. From the balcony we could see the lake. I loved the open private bathroom and our own sitting area. Definitely glamping. The next surprise was the restaurant there. Like having your own private chef. My husband always finds the most amazing places to stay. So friendly and loved the dogs. "

"We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Aviva in Tzununá on Lake Atitlán for two wonderful nights, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. The staff made us feel right at home, always ready to help with a smile and going the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. The rooms are absolutely beautiful: spacious, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with stunning views of the lake and surrounding volcanoes. Every detail feels luxurious yet eco-friendly, from the comfortable beds to the modern bathrooms and peaceful balconies where we could relax and soak in the scenery. We also loved the restaurant—the food was very good, fresh, and flavorful, with a nice variety of options that suited our tastes perfectly. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, every meal was a highlight of our stay."
