"Well presented clean room on the ground floor with excellent facilities. Food and drink excellent. Staff were incredibly helpful with any queries, we felt like one of the family. I have never commented on any other survey before this, so must have have made a very big impression ! Thank you and congratulations to your staff Matt our stay with you was wonderful. "Fantastic hotel in a great location in the centre of Cambridge. Staff were very friendly and helpful.breakfast buffet was superb. No concerns and would definitely recommend it!"

"During our stay there was a wedding party and the hotel was fully booked. There appeared to be staff shortages/new staff! This meant things took a little longer or needed a bit of extra staff training/help. Unfortunately there was also a wine shortage after several very busy events over the last 2 weeks! However we are patient people and ALL available staff were hardworking and friendly. Special mention to Ceran, Reese, Kyle, and sorry forgot name of the welding apprentice in the bar team. They went above and beyond. We had a room upgrade which was very gratefully received and a beautiful card for our Anniversary-thank you Molly! The pool and spa were great and especially loved the outdoor hot tub. It’s a great hotel, all the breakfast and evening meals were delicious. We would return if in the area."

"Overall, I had a wonderful stay. The room could have done with some updating or deeper cleaning, particularly the carpet, and the bathroom could have done with a good scale removal and/or deep clean of the tile grouting and the far end of the tiles surrounding the swimming pool in the spa had a large number of dead bees around it, which made me curious as to how often this was monitored and cleaned. BUT… The room was comfortable, the bedding and towels were clean and comfortable, and towels were changed daily. There was a good selection of tea/coffee and biscuits, which were also topped up daily. The stand out here were the food and bar/restaurant staff. Both were outstanding. The two evening meals I had were top quality, there was a good selection of wine and I had a very well made Old Fashioned, The cooked breakfast was delicious - no real need to bother with the continental IMO, but sure it’s a good choice for others. The staff overall were all friendly and helpful, the hotel itself was set in wonderful surroundings and the gym and spa facilities were great to have access too."
