"We stayed here for a couple night in April. Overall, it was a great stay. The hotel contacted me to find out when we would arrive to make sure someone was there when we arrived. They provided detailed instructions on how to locate the hotel and were super friendly/helpful checking in. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet for the most part (it overlooked a courtyard that could be loud for small amounts of time and never when we were sleeping). The bed was pretty hard and so were the pillows....

"The staff at B&B Cortese was so friendly, helpful, and so welcoming. The breakfast was really a treat. There is very little prepared to order, but the baked goods were excellent, the coffee nice and strong, and the yogurt home-made. From the cafe terrace you have a view of the harbor and a lovely clock tower that seems to be being restored. The rooms were clean and nicely stocked, not spacious but room enough to feel comfortable moving about. The hotel is just next to the University Metro...

"It was well located and within walking distance of many points of interest. The walk from the metro station is over cobbled streets and so not easy with luggage. The accomodation is on the second floor but there is no elevator so be prepared to tote your bags up there."
