"The hotel is an 18 century well-maintained mansion with a beautiful garden. It’s more for ceremonies than receptions than accommodation. However the rooms are clean and it was a nice experience to us to see an Italian style wedding ceremony. It’s 10-15 minutes drive to Polignano a mare. "

The hotel is a bit further up the main shopping and tourist street, so it’s very near Trullo Sovrano but is much quieter than those closer to the shopping areas. "This property is beautiful and peaceful. You definitely need a car to access it as it not a walkable area. With a rental car it’s great. The food was good, pool was cool but nice (pretty deep, so maybe hard with little kids). Gym was tiny (just for one person at a time) but well stocked. I only wished I had booked longer stay, instead of just 2 nights here, then more short stays in different places. The hotel has ample parking, offers breakfast, the lovely couple running it couldn't do enough for us and show us great hospitality. Also, there is a supermarket a short walk away.
