The only downside was that there was no kettle in the room — even after asking, we had to go downstairs to the reception each time to get hot water. Also, the mattress was a bit too authentic (an old, creaky bed with a worn-out mattress)."

This experience is much more authentic than our stays in the big hotel chains, and the owner made sure to provide free parking for us as well. "
