"Start with the good: it is an easy walk to the night market and close to old town. The okay: The staff was very friendly and helpful……but, we got the hard sell on tour sign up and using their tailor shop. And then there was the bad: the VIP suite was on the fourth floor. There is no elevator at this hotel. The bathroom was carved out of the room and had glass shower walls and no locking door. Shower curtain was moldy paint pealing, shower faucet broken. Pay no attention to the pool in the brochure. You won’t want to be in it. It is ok, not great. It is bad if you are paying $60 USD per night, which we did. This is a $20-$30 per night hotel based on our Vietnam travel experience. We will not return"

"The room was pretty small, but clean. On positive side the shower was nice and very powerful. I have asked for room with some view, but I got view overlooking a wall. Never mind. Breakfast choice wasn’t big, but it was satisfying enough for me. Staff was very friendly. After all it was a lovely stay and Hoi An is the most beautiful and colourful place. 🏮❤️🏮❤️🏮 "

"This was a lovely place to stay, beyond the foyer the hotel and rooms are like an oasis. The pool is great and very well maintained. The staff are beyond helpful, the restaurant were very amenable in ensuring our family member had her favourite gluten free dishes available for breakfast. Would highly recommend for families with older children."

"Really enjoyed my stay at the Allegro Hoi An. I stayed for three nights and the staff were really helpful for advising on things to do in Hoi An, providing a gluten free breakfast during my stay, and arranging transfers to my next destination (which Sophie in particular was great with). The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance of Hoi An old town, and the rooms are spacious / high quality. I also had my birthday in the hotel and the staff also surprised me with a birthday cake at breakfast, which was unexpected and a nice touch. I was surprised the property wasn’t rated 5 star, and would highly recommend staying here!"

"This is truly one of my favourite hotels I have stayed at. The facilities, pool, gym, breakfast etc. are outstanding for the price. The staff also could not do enough for me: Vy at breakfast and in particular Yen who (after me telling her about my peanut allergy) could not have been more accommodating showing me exactly what I could and couldn’t eat and even sourcing some alternative oil for me! I ended up extending my stay and will hopefully return"

"We loved everything about La siesta resort. The staff were amazing and accommodating. The breakfast buffet had plenty of options, rooms were tidy, restaurant was great and the pools were clean with fantastic service. Not too far a walk to the old town however grabs are easy to get too."

"The location and front desk staffs are great. The rest need improvement. The first room had some laundry issues, where we found someone else hairs inside one of the towels, and the bedsheets feel damp. The hotel was able to give us a different room (the view is not as great), but at least the bed doesn’t feel damp. Beside the laundry issue, the is also a sewage smell in the bathroom, I am not sure if it is just the nature of being near the river? Overall, the hotel needs to do a better job at cleaning the room. "
