"Was a super clean hotel and easily accessible to the Hawaiian Hilton Lagoon. Close and within walking distance of Ala Moana. There is a Waikiki Trolley stop within walkable distance to the Ilikai. Loved having the Honolulu Bay Company Coffee shop! Try the Macnut Coffee and the Lilikoi Scone."

"Everything was amazing, cleanness, staff and breakfast and can’t forget the bar on site. If there was to be something to improve maybe but not a big deal is the laundry system there’s only 2 washers for 19-20 floors and if your staying there for more than 5 days it’s very useful but wait time can be long if ppl are not on top of their times."

"The cleaning staff was absolutely amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They were so nice and always ready with anything you needed. They went above and beyond for us on our honeymoon. The room was very nice, a bit noisy on the beach side at night especially on the weekend. I had to sleep with my headphones on. The pool floor on the beach tower has a musty smell from the wet carpets. I felt awful for people who had to stay on that floor. If you get longboard club or equivalent, make sure to bring it up when you check in. We found multiple people were not given access even though they paid for it with their booking, including ourselves. So we missed out on using it our first day."

"I thought the price paid to Expedia was complete and no further payment was needed. While checking in, I was surprised that I was being charged for the hotel's Resort Fees. When I later looked through the Expedia fine print, it confirmed that Resort Fees were not covered. Other than that, the Ala Moana Hotel staff was wonderful and the room was great. We'll be back."

"My wife collapsed (I suspect as a result of dehydration) just after we had checked out at reception. The duty manager was there in a flash and my wife’s collapse had been observed by one of the ladies at reception, who immediately called 911. The staff were very helpful. They even arranged for my wife and I to return to the room we had just checked out of so my wife could lay down and recover after the paramedics had finished with her. Very impressed with their level of concern. Highly recommend The Wayfinder as a place to stay in Waikiki."
