Great hotel

Great hotel, really friendly staff, good value and tasty food and decent clean room, plenty of hot water for showers. Good parking. Room perhaps slightly tired but definitely worth the money.

Excellent budget option

The twin room was budget but clean and comfortable. I had a late check-in and the hotel was excellent in the levels of communication. The hotel decor, fixtures and fittings are tired but everything is there and service amazing.

Showing it’s age new carpets would be a must but the food is excellent and great value staff are lovely bar closed at 9 which was a bit of a let down but over all a good stay and for the price great value

The hotel is eco friendly. Staff are friendly.

It was a nice experience . Though the hotel is old but the maintenance level is good. They just need to change some door knobs and room carpets.

Cheap but okay

The hotel room we stopped in was dated and the radiator would not turn off so we had to open the window, the bed was okay, I did sleep well after the room cooled down, the rest of the hotel looked okay to me , staff are friendly, at the end of the day it’s a low price so you get what you pay for, for the price I thinks it’s a good hotel.

Booked the hotel for an anniversary, brought back fond memories. Rooms clean and tidy, restaurant was clean and food good. Not really anything to do at the hotel but wasn’t there for that. Happy with the stay and would stay again

Room was small but clean and tidy Had to ask for more towels one between us both, but staff were lovely Food was excellent Breakfast great value Drinks very expensive, go across to the garden inn, lovely pub Loved the water fountain outside but it's very loud on a morning lol

Good sized clean room, great staff

Good size clean room. Staff were very helpful and I was able to pre-order some food for when I got back in the evening, a very tasty chicken curry. Breakfast was also good. A little tired and some noisy people in the room above me but overall I would definitely come back if in the area.

For the price paid a perfectly functional hotel. But out of the way if you don't drive. However local taxis are reasonable. Cooked breakfast was very good with excellent quality ingredients.
