"The accommodation is part of a working horse farm. We had an elevated view, with a big horizon. East facing, we witnessed magical sun rises and also a good view of the moon. The interior was beautifully clean. Everything we needed was all provided in a compact well thought out space. Good pub within short driving distance. Only small nit pick is we would have liked a larger hob and over considering our size of party - but it was fine overall."

"Great one night stay at the Pilgrim. The room was spacious and clean, albeit a bit faded - the ensuite in particular could have benefited from redecoration. However, it was still good value for money. Dinner was excellent, and far above the usual hotel standard: the crispy beef in sweet chilli sauce is highly recommended and my filled flatbread starter was also very accomplished. The Pilgrim has clearly found itself a talented chef, which makes the hotel very appealing for anyone who values great food. Overall, a great experience and I hope to stay here again soon."

Great spot to chill in the evening. Much closer to town than appeared in the map so was very happy with that and it's very close to walking path along the wye"
