The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful. Our private onsen was something out of a movie. And it’s a superb place for kids — many fun little treats everywhere. Very much recommend. However, if your kid is an adventurous eater, make sure they do not serve them the kids meal Kaiseki. It is definitely subpar fast food level. Pre-order the adult version because you can’t change on the spot.

My husband and I are both vegetarians, and the chef was able to make delicious vegetarian meals for us. The dinner we had was one of the best of our time in Japan. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The room and private onsen were relaxing, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The staff went above and beyond by providing us a ride to the Open Air Museum and then to the train station. We had an incredible time and would very highly recommend staying here!!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the welcome drinks and snack and the kaiseki dinner. Amazing private hot spring experience. The staff were super nice and the shuttle service is indispensable. Hakone bus system was unreliable but the hotel staff kindly picked us up and dropped us off at various locations throughout our stay. We really appreciated the kindness shown to us during our stay.
