Staff were wonderful and the buffet dinner and breakfast were brilliant. The hallways smelled a bit funny and the aircon in the room took a bit to kick in but lovely stay otherwise.

Best stay ever!! the amenities were luxurious from their yukatas to their private baths and public/hotsprings. Food was quality for a buffet and timing and hospitality was so well clean and organized! Beautiful views, very calming. We came out completely relaxed/zen! Couldn’t have asked for any better!

Could not praise this location enough, besides the long hike uphill if you are dropped off at the local station. The scenery is breathtaking, the hotel was wonderful, the amenities and accommodation the hotel/staff provide is outstanding. The breakfast buffet had an array of delicious items to choose from while providing a lovely view of nature. Same goes for the room, plenty of space, clean. If I am ever in Hakone, I will definitely be returning.

We unfortunately only stayed for one night but the property was awesome and staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us to send our bags to Kyoto since traveling in and out of Hakone is a little difficult with 4 large bags. Overall amazing hotel, room was beautiful/clean and the breakfast and dinner buffet was so good. Absolutely recommend if you’re staying in Hakone.

Location is a little far from the Hakone Yumoto station and the town. Facility is out dated and needs some repair, staff is very helpful and friendly. Onsen is excellent and a great experience. The highlight of the stay was the Japanese buffet breakfast and dinner. It was very very good and great experience and well worth the trip. Don’t book the western style room that has two twin beds. The mattress is sinking and very uncomfortable. Both my wife and my daughter hurt their back from sleeping only one night in this bed. However tatami beds are very comfortable and a great experience. So overall the stay was above average because of the bed, location and facility. I really love the stuff and the buffet .

We specifically booked a room with the private bath located on the 4th floor. We came by car and there's free parking. Valet was very friendly, front desk staff are also friendly with decent English knowledge. The included dinner and breakfast buffet was outstanding. It is absolutely worth coming here for a trip in Hakone, especially if you prefer a private bath.
