My reservation has breakfast buffet included but it opens only at 7am, and we have a JR reservation at 8 from Odawara. Because of the limited availability of transportation, we have to to leave the hotel before 7 and miss our breakfast.
My friends and I stayed in a traditional Japanese room for a couple days. We woke up to a gentle sunrise amongst our fluffy futons and agreed that it was the best night of sleep we'd had during all of our time in Japan. Every meal taken in the dining hall was intriguing and delicious. We also frequented the onsen throughout our stay. We declared every detail "delightful" and regularly suggested to each other that we should simply stay in Hakone longer. It was the best experience.

Though the room seems to face a greenish hill but there is a street running through that hill. so, there is no privacy at all, we have to keep the blind closing all the time.
