"We had an outstanding stay at the Fairmont in Old Québec City. The location alone makes this hotel exceptional — it sits right in the heart of Old Québec, with most major attractions just a short and enjoyable walk away. We were able to explore historic streets, shops, and iconic landmarks without needing a car, which made the experience stress-free and immersive.
Many excellent restaurants, cafés, and bakeries are within walking distance, giving us endless dining options every day. One highlight for our family was how close the hotel is to the toboggan slide at Terrasse Dufferin — an absolute must-do, especially in winter. Being able to walk there easily made it even better.
The hotel is also very conveniently located for visiting other Québec City attractions. It’s close to Vacation Camp activities, the Ice Hotel (Hôtel de Glace), and other popular destinations, making it a perfect base for sightseeing and family adventures. Whether you’re exploring history, enjoying winter activities, or simply soaking in the charm of the city, everything feels accessible from this location.
Beyond the unbeatable location, the hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and comfortable. The atmosphere blends historic charm with modern comfort, and the service was excellent throughout our stay.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!!!"
