"It is on the outskirts of Gloucester, so was a great location to access the motorway. We enjoyed a good evening meal and took time to use the pool and spa. Paying for parking was the first thing you have to do, before anything and is a negative impact on check in. We had to call reception st midnight as there were people drinking ans shouting outside but they dealt with it straightaway."

"Everything we needed was provided at the property (except kitchen bin liner) Easy access, spotless/bright building and immaculate apartment with plenty of space & storage. Great location overlooking the canal basin & canal boats. Plenty of shops/food & drink locations within a few minutes walk of the apartment. A bustling area, full of life whatever time of the day. Perfect spot for shopping with the outlet centre & town just a few minutes walk. Enjoyed some lovely meals/cocktails & ice creams whilst staying here. There were only the 2 of us but plenty of room for 2 couples or small family. Would definitely stay here again."

"Lovely serene location near the canal and river (might get busy when the weather is good)..Lovely traditional spacious and comfortable rooms, in good clean condition. Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast isn't available at the restaurant currently but there is Toby Carvery or the cafe at Over Farm next door. Location is convenient with a car being close to Gloucester itself."

"The room was adequate for our overnight stay. The shower was really good and all the basic usual were there. The welcome from Nadine was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. We really enjoyed the breakfast, thank you Chef. Overall the Linden Tree is a good, basic stopover, especially if staying overnight after watching the Cherry and Whites."

"Hi, always a great welcoming at this hotel will all members of staff when I stay there. Booked on Sunday 31st May arrived in the afternoon and was greated by lovely young lady call Chanel very chatty as always I can remember from last time I stay she's doing a great job. Okay hotel can do with little pick meups like shower floor towel cleaning but all different colours though bleach, Pillow I think the hole of the hotel needs new one's, with Pillow protection cases because you can smell someone's swet and mouth dribbles on them not a very good thing to get good night sleep. But as I can really say its comfortable clean good to have microwave and fridge it's a great hotel."
