The Edward Hotel

"The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Despite being a 2 star hotel, they found us somewhere to park and helped carry our bags to our room. This is a basic hotel, but that’s why it costs a little less. But it is clean, friendly, we had a lovely room and a very good television with loads of options on it, which you don’t get at some hotels. The breakfast was extra, but it was certainly worth the £8.50. The sausages and bacon in particular were very tasty. I would recommend this hotel because it’s great value for money. It’s close to the railway station, the bus station, the town centre and the cathedral. It has its own car park and the room facilities are great. The staff were so great too. So friendly and helpful. "

"We stayed at this apartment over a weekend and we absolutely loved it. The decor is modern, it was very clean and comfortable. The surprise on arrival was very thoughtful and appreciated. The location is spot on right near the docks and the city centre. The host also provided us with clear instructions and messaged to ask if everything was ok. Definitely would recommend this place."

"The apartment we stayed in was perfect for our stay as a basis to explore Gloucester and the northern Cotswolds. The docks with a choice of restaurants is in walking distance, parking for the car at the back with easy access. Beds were super comfy. Everything was clean. Perfect. We will be back! "
