"We were worried prior to the trip because of the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit Gensan last June 8, 2026. We are thankful that the hotel didn't sustain major damage despite widespread devastation in the city.
We stayed from July 5-July 10,2026 with family members. At one time there were 15 of us. Then there were 9 of us total. The service was excellent. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. We just had to ask and they tried to meet our needs. Special mention to Angel at the service desk; Lloyd at the Mint Cafe and VIP lounge for making sure that we got what we ordered. Jin, the omelet chef, accommodated my request for a special omelet with bitter melon(ampalaya). Jin also made sure that my husband got his omelet the way he wanted it. Special treatments like these made our stay calm, peaceful and relaxing. JED, made sure I got some more jicama (singkamas) slices and fresh sweet papaya: craving satisfied indeed. The cleaning staff were awesome as they always cleaned our room and made the bed.
My only beef is that the AC was a little loud, though once we were asleep it was just background noise.
Thank you Greenleaf, our home in Gensan, when we visit. We have always stayed here since 2013. See you again soon."
