New and Improved Microtel GenSan

I visit enSan yearly and this is my go to hotel everytime. On my last visit they did some renovation which gave the hotel a more pleasant appeal. Great Job.

Very conveniently located close to SM mall, major hospitals , a great arcade with restaurants and cafes. It’s a safe and central area. The hotel is very clean(they make up the rooms daily and change the linens and towels everyday), peaceful and the rooms are spacious. The staff is very kind and helpful (we needed an iron for our clothes and a boiler and they provided it quickly). The price is also honest and matching the overall quality of the hotel. So it’s a good value for money ratio in the end. Surely one of the best hotels in GenSan

Everything was pretty great. I guess Wyndham hotels dont care about American guest in the philippines. Only had 1 channel on tv. That sucks. Had great hot water the shower. Most hotels don't care about hot showers. I really don't understand why you don't put a door on the shower. Half of it was open with water, splashing out onto the bathroom floor.

In fact a nice hotel!

Try this nice hotel. Big, clean and comfortable rooms and an attractive room rate. Only one thing surprised. Even if I was told when booking thd room, we could pay for breakfast next morning, it was not possible. We needed to go out to find it outside the hotel. Why? Also a problem with the door key, which didn't turn on the power in the room. But both times an employee helped us with a smile :) I'll come again, if they promise me to serve a nice morning buffet!

3rd stay at Microtel

Been 4 years since last stay at Microtel and was a little disappointed this time. Place seemed to be looking tired and a need of refresh.  Room was clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Shower pressure fluctuates with one minute good pressure and then a dribble.  The breakfast was nothing to get excited about either.  Staff were always friendly and helpful.  One redeeming feature is the location being close to numerous food outlets including McDonald's, Chow King and 5 min walk to SM mall. Overall stay was pleasant but will probably not return.

The staff are friendly and nice but need more training. Breakfast is served at 6 a.m. but won't start at 6:10 or 6:15 a.m. Not enough time for us to meet our 6:30 a.m. van pick up time every morning.

overall, our stay was excellent. the only glitch was the problem with the keycard upon check in. the card wont turn the power on & it had to be replaced. the room was clean and spacious and i say had a lot of amenities to enjoy. my husband and I definitely enjoyed our stay.
