I found the penthouse / Atico terrace suite a little small for 2 people and was underwhelmed by the breakfast but otherwise I couldn’t have been happier with the stay, value, and vibe at the property. I usually stay at casa fuster or a high end apartment in Bcn which I visit once or twice a year at least, this property will be on my shortlist from now on. I had them book a massage for me the day of my arrival since it would be a few hours...

"When we arrived we were amazed by the architecture and elegance of the building inside and out. It is a unique hotel promoting elegance. The location is perfect with easy access to multiple subway lines, on a beautiful luxury shopping street. Don't forget to go up to the roof. You can catch a glimpse of the Sagrada Familia as well as La Pedrera (Casa Milà) across the street. "

"Staff was welcoming as I arrived and the place is modern and clean. Choice of water or cava to start and the staff at reception tolerated and even encouraged my mediocre Spanish. Cookies waiting in my room and a bottle of wine—enjoyed it on my private terrace overlooking Avignuda Diagonal. Trip of a lifetime and loved that I got to stay at 414 (I’m from “the 414” in the states—area code of Milwaukee). It was meant to be for me but I’d encourage anyone to stay at this lovely place. "

"The hotel is situated perfectly within walking distance from Sagrada Família and many shops close by. At first sight you might underestimate it by just looking at it from the outside but it’s very nice. The breakfast was tasty even for a pickie eater. "

"The staff was great the breakfast was very good . Only complaint is the noise at night , arriving guests late ringing the doorbell constantly. Blac guesthouse is very specific about what to do if you arrive late . Lastly , our shower had mold . Shower needs a deep cleaning. Otherwise would return , "

They were very helpful giving me tips on restaurants, tours and transportation. The location is excellent. It is walking distance to shopping and restaurants. When I go back to Barcelona I will definitely come back to this hotel."
