I usually don't write reviews but for this specific property I need to. The property was excellent, just as advertised. Check-in was seamless. For Barcelona standards, the apartment was BIG and very comfortable. The apartment was very quiet which was great when we wanted to rest. Plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, shops and plaza's to wonder around. Fontana metro station was just very near. I would HIGHLY recommend you stay here.

Property is in a neighborhood with families which we really valued. There are several squares in the area that have restaurants around them. Metro is only about 3 blocks away and you can get anywhere in the city from there VERY easily. Beds were very comfortable.

Apartment was near a quiet small-business neighborhood. Kitchen well supplied except there was only one bowl and the pots were damaged. Bed was comfy. Wifi wasn't working at first but a message to property resolved that.

Very nice apartment in a centric and lovely area. I suggest to leave a Metro and city map for guests at the apartment-it will be useful. Also, reliable taxi companies and how to contact them. Otherwise, very nice

Positive: 1. The unit was spacious enough for a couple, and even three people could stay comfortably. 2. It came well-equipped with several appliances: an oven, a washer, a dryer, and a full-size refrigerator with a separate freezer, which was really handy. There were also two TVs, which was a nice bonus! 3. Check-in and check-out were both straightforward and hassle-free. Negative: 1. The balcony door was partially broken and couldn’t be fully closed, which made it difficult to enjoy quiet time unless the street outside was calm. Overall: I highly recommend this place, but make sure the balcony door is fixed before your stay.

We spent 4 nights at the apartment, it was centerally located and close to the fontana metro. The apartment met most of our needs except the bed was a double bed made up of two single beds which moved through the night from tossing and turning. The water pressure was low and not enough toilet rolls were provided for 4 nights. However, checkin and check out was straight forward and apartment was tidy and clean.

Excellent property. Their system is an example of automation and self-service: after payment is made, you get a code to enter the building and another code to open an electronic lockbox and get your two sets of keys. They have cameras everywhere (including common inside living areas such as the living room). I felt safe. My not liking the area is just a personal perception because locals deem it to be charming (in a small town sense): many cafes and pastry shops as well as small business such as seamstresses, mercerías, vintage shops, grocery stores, etc- I find the area to be on the poverty side but I might be wrong: we all know that in the real estate business everything is about perception. The property itself and its management, though, are top-notch: impeccable service, flexibility and responsiveness. I highly recommend this company.

Street Noise, lack of sleep

I whole heartedly agree with Hsu Cheng’s and others Street noise concerns. As I had exactly the same issue of banging noises and drunken people outside at 01-05am. This went on throughout the whole night and kept myself and my family awake which impacted our holiday in Barcelona. Based on the negative comments ie Noise. I specifically checked the location of our room before I went and I was told “ facing the interior patio” so we went ahead. Unfortunately, this was not the case and we was given the “street view” . If you don’t mind noise and lack of sleep, then you will be ok. I wouldn’t recommend it. The owner states they will try and accommodate facing the interior but did not on this occasion. Surely the fact I am asking about this before the visit indicates this was important for me, but they are saying there systems didn’t allow. I am not convinced with this statement. However, on the positive the apartment was clean, but definitely not worth the overprice we paid. It’s close to the metro and attractions, restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Check in / leaving luggage is easy.

The room was amazing. It was very clean, spacious, modern, and close to a lot of great things. What made it 5 stars for me was the customer service. On our first night, there was a complication with our key - it was 10pm and we didn’t have a room. However, one of the employees went above and beyond to take care of us, driving to us late at night to make sure we had a place to stay. I commend Bonavistas exceptional customer service and will definitely be rebooking when we come back!
