Top GLBT History Museum Hotel Reviews
Handlery Union Square Hotel
8/10 Good
"Very clean hotel with a great location right near Union Square. The good: Clean, location, friendly staff. The bad: Parking fee is expensive (use the parking garage less than a block away instead), some of the rooms are pretty small, the pool is small, and the sauna requires a reservation. The meh: rooms are "outdated" (I liked it, but some people prefer more modern fixtures), and there seems to be quirky rules for accessing certain amenities (see sauna above). Overall: If its reasonably priced compared to other hotels nearby, I think this one is a safe bet."
Symphony Inn
10/10 Excellent
"It was a really nice hotel room. Nice big comfy beds. I really enjoyed my stay there. And lots of food nearby. It was really a nice place to stay"
The Hotel Castro San Francisco
10/10 Excellent
"Great location and stay! Space is tight but the amenities are nice. Especially loved the balcony."
1906 Mission
10/10 Excellent
"complicated app to get key"
Parker Guest House San Francisco
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property! I loved the garden, a beautiful oasis in the city. The staff members were extremely nice and helpful, too."
Becks Motor Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Best hotel in the Castro"
Noe's Nest Bed and Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"The people that have this bed and breakfast are wonderful, very helpful and kind and make you feel right at home. The breakfasts are absolutely amazing and delicious. The outdoor area in the back is so lovely. We enjoyed our breakfast out there"
Hotel Sunrise
10/10 Excellent
"Solid place to stay in the mission for a really good price. A lot of reviews complain about features of the neighborhood like the noise level, so if you're bothered by any of that stop looking at hotels in the mission or bring earplugs. Close to tons of great restaurants and fun shops, plus just a few blocks from the bart. They offer 24/7 check in. Our room had a microwave and fridge, a TV, and a fan. Could've used a few more towels as two people staying there but that'd be my only complaint."
Union Hotel
8/10 Good
"An old building near a street corner that’s apparently a big homeless gathering place. But the staff are friendly, the rooms are solid and clean with soft beds, and the building is secure. It’s also very close to a BART station (the aforementioned corner gathering place). If you’re 1-2 people looking to stay in San Francisco for cheap and don’t want to consider a hostel then it’s a good choice."
