"We parked across the street and paid which was fine. the staff were disrespectful when i had questions. the rooms were disgusting, there was hairs in the bed and the carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. we ended up leaving early due to the hotel rooms."

"We enjoyed our quick stay in a bright, updated and clean 2-bedroom with kitchen. The location was perfect for a quick stopover after arriving in Union Station on the Empire Builder. Beds were comfy, kitchen was helpful and there were several good take out options nearby - we chose Beggar’s Pizza. Being able to rest and refresh in such a comfortable and convenient spot after a 48 hour train ride was a welcome treat! I’d stay here again the next time I’m visiting my company’s nearby Chicago office."

"I was just looking for a simple small room with one queen bed. I didn't need extras because we were just planning on sleeping one night and leaving early. I don't like heights so they accommodated me with a second floor room. They were awesome. The only thing that I didn't like was the cost of using the valet service. We had them park our car when we arrived to check in and bring it out to us when we checked out. It would be nice if they charged according to how many times you used the services."

"Our room was uncomfortably warm. They explained that the hotel is old and they put either the air conditioner on or the heat on in the hotel and since it was going to be cool the next day they had turned the heat on to begin heating the hotel for the next day. They did give us a fan and opened the windows for us. It was difficult to sleep due to the warm temperature. Also our room did not lock from the outside. The door could be opened by simply pushing it open. It made us very nervous to leave our things in the room unattended. Someone did come to help us close and lock the door before we went to bed. The room was very spacious and had a beautiful view of the lake and grant park."

"Parking was easy and barely a 5 minute walk! Staff were very nice and accommodating. Only thing I would say is both days we were there , there was no water in any vending machines so that was kind of hard since we had to leave the property to just get water. Overall it was a good stay!"

"I loved this hotel I’m saving it because we are coming back. We have a special needs child having a fridge and microwave is important in the room. Pool on the 8th floor indoor perfect. Staff was great "
