"An absolute gem in Sintra. A beautiful hotel, our room was stunning with an enormous bathroom. The bed was divine and the room was quiet and spotless. There is parking available (see photo). Staff were very friendly and welcoming and are incredibly hospitable and proud of the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic and it is in a convenient location. I loved this hotel."

"Been staying at UPON since 2018. I come see my 10 year old son every three months. Listen if you are looking for a good hotel with a great heated pool and good wifi this is your place. You can get Benfica stadium view if you like. You got great housekeepers, Stadium is just accross the bridge and Colombo shopping is 15 minute walk with great restaurants if you dont wanna hit the burgers up at UPON restaurant. Pingo Doce grocery store is 2 minute walk or accross the street. Uber eats, Uber are really quick to get there. If you are into public transportation is right there max 15 minutes walk for the train and the buses probably the same. Anyway try it you wont be dissapointed. Houston Texas :) in da house."

"Everything about my stay was just perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The grounds are enormous and one can literally lose oneself walking in nature around the golf course. There are five great restaurants on property. And the location, midway between Centra and Cascais is perfect. "

"Wonderful location yet so close to Lisbon (use the train to get in to town), good room size, very friendly staff and very clean. Breakfast fare was superb but slightly pricey (€15 pp would have been better than the €20 charged in advance) - there are good alternatives options outside the hotel and nearby. We loved the location to visit the coast and Sintra and Cascais is such a pretty town too with plenty going on."
