Charming apartment amazing staff!

Highly recommend this villa! The room was beautifully decorated and stocked with a bowl of fresh fruit and water. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was amazing! The owner of the villa cooked us breakfast and chatted with us each day giving us reccommendations on what to do. Beautiful courtyard! Was our favorite place we stayed in our 9 nights in portugal.

Our stay at Storytellers Villas was perfect! Fantastic Apartment with everything you could need during your stay. Also, a great location. Delicious breakfast. And of course, wonderful staff. Nuno was very helpful and Marco (owner) was one of the most friendly and interesting people we’ve met on our trip. They really went above and beyond our expectations. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Sintra.

I liked almost everything about the property. Nunno, the manager, couldn't have been more helpful, making us breakfast in the morning, securing dinner reservations, and offering us tour suggestions which were helpful. The only negative was the festival of San Pedro that happened to coincide with our stay and was across the street. Ot was charming except for the loud music that ended sometime between midnight and 2 am.

Wow wow wow! We absolutely loved this place. We had a cute little 1 bdrm apartment and it was so perfect. Beautifully decorated, peaceful, comfy. There was a full refrigerator and microwave so we were able to have our left overs from the awesome food we had while visiting Sintra. Christina was our main host at the office and she was WONDERFUL! So friendly and full of recommendations and helpful advice. She was there for anything/everything we needed. The hotel is a little off the beaten path, which was welcome as the city center is very crowded. This place is truly a gem.

We had a beautiful two bedroom villa with a lovely sitting room and kitchenette. It was a lovely, quiet neighborhood, but walkable to shops and restaurants. But what really made it was Marco, the proprietor, who thought of everything. We had a giant water bottle, coffee pods and wonderful fresh fruit waiting for us in the room. When we arrived Marco met us, and helped plan out our two days in Sintra, organized our tickets to the Pena Palace, arranged onward train tickets (and printed them for us!) and gave us great restaurant recommendations. He could not have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. He truly made our visit special. Would definitely go back and highly recommend

Walkable to restaurants/cafes, and the Moorish and Pena castles. Was very relaxing. Staff were helpful with their recommendations. Lisbon only 20 minutes away and after spending day in Lisbon we were very glad we stayed in Sintra instead. Would stay again.

We had a tremendous stay at the Storytellers Villas. We cannot recommend this location highly enough. We stayed in the two bedroom room, and it was the perfect amount of space; our nine year old was thrilled to have her own room and bathroom. We had the pleasure of being served by Bowani who is not only the housekeeper, but also the receptionist, and the server at breakfast. Obrigada, Bowani! You are a gem. Breakfast was a great selection of breads, croissants, ham, cheese, yogurt and hot beverages. All you need! We will definitely be back.

The facility is a group of apartments located around a central garden. So relaxing! The staff is precious. The office manager is a wonderful person who cares for each guest as if they were family. I would repeat the stay!

We loved this hotel. The staff was kind and helpful, especially Bonnie who kept our room spotless…anything we needed they provided. It’s not a modern property but we preferred the roominess of having 2 bedrooms and close to many restaurants. There is a great little coffee shop next door with delicious pastries we went to every day!
