"The property is just lush. It's set in the most idealic area and the staff could not do enough for us. The Terrace tables were all taken so the staff moved tables fron the bar area outside for us. Incredibley friendly and wonderful service. Glyn Pernell was chatting with guests and spent a good 15 minutes chatting to my hubby and our friends about football and to us ladies about food. Fabulous stay and the room was just great too. Highly recommend the Wood Norton as a place to stay, eat and enjoy. The singer on the Terrace made for a beautiful afternoon's entertainment in the sun ."

"Stayed one night, lovely pub with rooms and friendly staff who gave helpful tips re travel around area due to a local event. Had food in the beer garden and large field with lovely views of fields beyond. Bar and buildings have character, this does include the odd creaky floorboard and low headroom at doors, but added to the character. Would stay again and likely book next year for when in the area again"

"Beautiful cabin with amazing views. The cabin was perfectly located and very clean with ample room. The golf and country club is stunning. Great for walks as over 300 acres of countryside and a range of flat, incline and woodland to browse. Staff were friendly and food lovely. The only recommendation I would give is that the cabins would benefit from dividers to add some privacy when sitting on the balcony. We did feel like we were a bit too ‘all together’ and found ourselves whispering all evening when enjoying the views as other stayers was super close (touching distance). Looking forward to visiting again"

"Dumbleton Hall has undergone a huge multi-million pound refurbishment, and it shows. The finish combines beautiful finishes, sumptuous fabrics and age-worn character features which have been tastefully restored. The staff were all extremely polite and attentive, with the exception of one evening when we were left waiting to order drinks. The drinks were delivered and by way of an apology they were on the house. Things happen in any business but I do feel it's how these things are handled which matter. The bedroom we stayed in was very comfortable but we were surprised there was no mirror in the bedroom at all. I would've liked to have sat down in the room to get ready for the evening but had to use the bathroom, which is probably just an oversight and hopefully will be rectified. The addition of spa facilities would be welcome and befitting of such a gorgeous location. It is a bit off the beaten track and I'm sure a spa would only add to the appeal, along with offering weddings as it is ideal for that too. We will be back."
Bridge Farm Holiday Cottages

"Great location and felt it was a good price for our 3 night stay. Easy to find and a good base for a family holiday in the Cotswolds. Our little boy loved seeing the sheep out of the window and we enjoyed the honey from the farm, the welcome milk was also a nice touch. Kitchen and bathroom were really modern, the kitchen seemed brand new and had every utensil you could ever need. Comfy sofas. The upstairs landing where the 2 twin beds were located could easily hear/see light from downstairs, and had to be walked through to get to the double room. We had 1 issue and that is that there were lots of mosquitos inside. We believe that they were coming from somewhere inside upstairs (wooden beams?) as none of us got bit out and about around the property or anywhere else in the Cotswolds on our trip, and we were all bitten during the night. We came away with lots of bites all over any part exposed in the night (including faces, on our 3 year old etc). And saw/squashed a lot of very big mosquitos inside but none outside. We kept windows and doors closed. The week before had been a heatwave so could have been a one off, but this would put me off staying again. I did message the host 2 weeks ago privately, but have not had any response to assure me that they are taking steps to address the mosquitos hence mentioning in my review."
