One of our two favourite inns during our Cotwolds journey. Beautifully appointed, clean, and with all the character you'd expect from a historic building. We upgraded our room, and would do so again. We loved our stay here.
Beautiful inn and tea rooms. Loved my cute little room, than the back patio was so sweet and charming. Right near the Cotswolds way start/end point. Beautiful. Comfortable. Helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Very clean and comfortable rooms off a charming courtyard. Very nice rain shower at the end of a day checking out the village. Staff at the Tea House very nice an excellent breakfast in this historic little spot. Would definitely come back!
We had a lovely stay and would happily return. The room was comfortable, clean, and mostly very quiet, though there was some early morning noise from tractors passing through the high street. It was made up daily, which we appreciated, though it could get a bit chilly in the evening due to single-pane windows (the bathroom was always warm and cosy).
Check-in was easy via the tea rooms, and the staff were friendly and helpful, offering great local advice. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and they catered really well for my husband’s gluten-free needs.
Free parking was a great bonus. Overall, a welcoming and relaxing place to stay, highly recommended.
The staff were polite and friendly, especially the young lady who ran through our room facilities.
The car park at the rear was a bonus to be off the main road.
The room was generally very clean, just some stains on part of the showers grout and dust behind the bed.
The room was warm and comfortable with a set of drawers as a wardrobe wouldn't fit.
Breakfast was excellent with locally sourced produce and the jam and marmalade made on the premises.
The Tea Rooms are in the centre of Chipping Campden with shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance.
Our room was very nice and very quiet. Breakfast was great. Checkin was a little hard as we had to knock on the restaurant door as it was closed. Location is great, very easy to find. Staff were very nice
We booked the Tuzo Room in the main older part of the Bantam Tearooms. I knew from reviews that the room can get hot & a large fan was provided, which we kept on for our one night stay. Staff were very polite & check in details were clear on the booking. I thought from the photos in the booking that the corridor with the armchairs was exclusively part of our accommodation at £160 a night. It was actually a shared passage with the other guests rooms so slightly disappointed. However we enjoyed our stay & it was a quiet comfortable stay. Breakfast was included which was very nice & served to guests before the tearoom was open to the public. Staff were very polite & told us the history of the building. We bought some homemade cakes for our journey & they were delicious. Melt in the mouth shortbread & a yummy moist lemon drizzle cake. Very convenient location in the main High Street with plenty of free parking.
Chipping Campden was beautiful and quintessential Cotswolds. Bantam Tea Rooms were small but clean. The breakfast was limited but good. The staff were attentive and friendly. We would stay there again.
Great stay. The room was clean, new, everything worked and we loved the sky light with a way to open and cover for sleeping. Great breakfast and efficient staff. Loved the bathroom. Only negative was the room was a bit small if you have big bags.
