Cheese & Wine Suites

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay at Cheese and Wine Suites was the last leg of our tour through Spain and Portugal. It was a perfect ending to a really great trip. From the moment we arrived we got a good feeling from our welcome at the reception desk. We were shown to our spacious and well appointed room and then briefed on all the services available. This included what turned out to be an excellent breakfast served by a friendly and attentive staff. This boutique hotel is in such a wonderful location that we never even needed to call a taxi to visit all the nearby sites of Lisbon. We were able to walk everywhere without problems. At the end of our stay, we had an early flight and even though we had to leave before breakfast was served the staff prepared us a lovely take along breakfast so that we wouldn’t miss out! It was delicious. If you are visiting Lisbon, this is the place to stay."

The Felix 10

10/10 Excellent

"Excellent Stay, Spacious Suite & Wonderful Service We had an excellent stay at Felix Hotel Lisbon and would happily return! The property manager was knowledgeable, accommodating, and very responsive. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a spacious suite, which made our stay extra special. Location: An excellent base for exploring Lisbon, with easy Uber/Bolt access, nearby restaurants and cafés, public transportation, and walkable sightseeing options. Despite the convenient location, the surroundings felt peaceful. Room & Amenities: We loved the spacious suite, comfortable bed, large bathtub, fireplace, rain shower with excellent water pressure and temperature, and heated towel rack. These comforts were especially appreciated after long days exploring Lisbon’s hills. The property also has a lovely outdoor patio and rooftop area, although we didn’t have time to use them. Service: Excellent hospitality! Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the property manager promptly brought us an iron and ironing board when requested. A Few Minor Drawbacks: Rooftop construction may disturb guests hoping to sleep in. Some bedside outlets weren’t working properly, Kleenex could have been better stocked, there were no clothes hangers, and one bathroom faucet was loose, although the second sink worked fine. Overall: Despite these minor issues, we had a very positive experience and felt it was good value. Would highly recommend for solo or couples traveling."

Olissippo Lapa Palace – The Leading Hotels of the World

10/10 Excellent

"This is truly a palace. The room was very large with a beautiful bathroom and a door from the bedroom to the large closets and bathroom. If one of the occupants wants to get dressed early, this allows the other person not to be disturbed while sleeping. There are plenty of balconies where you can eat outdoors as well as the breakfast room. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. The pool outside as well as indoors are beautiful. It is a seven to $10 Uber ride to all the sites. You can also have a Continental breakfast sent to the room if you include breakfast in your booking. I highly recommend this hotel. I also had a great massage and facial which I believe was reasonably priced."

Palacio Ramalhete

8/10 Good

"We stayed on the top floor under the roof. The room had air conditioning, but unfortunately, the bathroom did not. The showerhead was also installed quite low, making it uncomfortable for my husband, who is 6’1”, to shower. One unique feature was the old-fashioned, heavy room key. Be sure not to lose it, as the hotel charges €300 for a replacement! Overall, these are a few things worth noting for future guests, and improving the bathroom comfort would make the stay more enjoyable."
