"I really expected more from a “luxury hotel”. The water pressure was awful. The pool bar is only open Thursday-Sunday (didn’t say that anywhere on the website) with very limited hours. There’s no water available without astronomical purchase prices. The ice machines were broken every time we went to get ice. Housekeeping didn’t bring enough towels even with asking every day for more. The temperature of the room was warm and despite the thermostat being accessible, it seemed locked in on a set temp. The pool deck was an actual hazard. It is so slippery and I can’t imagine deemed safe. I fell and watched 3 other people in two days fall hard. The restaurant was just randomly closed on more than one occasion and the back up option is the bar with a very limited and unimpressive menu (though the staff was lovely). I was really underwhelmed, disappointed, and would never book again."

"Stanley really didn't care how he treated us. We arrived super late from long travels and he was so rude and literally we only asked him if the room had a view and he said "its too late for that you should have checked in earlier" like just so inconsiderate but Tiffany I believe was her name was so kind and accommodating to our wifi issues...when Stanley gave us no insight that the higher floor had little to no wifi so we scrambled during work time and zoom..Stanley needs to be back of house..he doesn't do well speaking direct to guests."

"Had a 2 day staycation at the Hotel Swexan and it was amazing. Roof top pool/bar is the best in the city with such an island vibe. We tried all the restaurants on the premise and the food was great. Staff very friendly and attentive. For anyone in your 20's or kids in their 20's the hotel/decor/pool and bar area made for an awesome back drop for the required vacay pics and videos !"

"My entire team (8 rooms) did not have hot water for almost 48 hours. The hotel kept telling us that it was getting fixed and after 3 cold showers they had it fixed. The team there apologized for the issues, but nothing other than "sorry" and still cold water. I expect to have hot water at any and every hotel. It is a basic need, not a luxury."
