"Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help."

"Whereas I have had serious issues with my previous lodging during this trip (Kendal, Windermere), this place is hands down the most wonderful site. Clean. Comfortable. Great breakfast. Accommodating storage needs. Firm and hot shower with new fixtures. Quiet. Great bed and clean sheets. Clean carpet throughout the guest home. Hosts are knowledgable and friendly."
