"To the owner of this apartment: please consider hiring a different care taker! We arrived in Parbo after a long bus journey and was looking forward to a good stay. First impression was excellent - nice quiet street with amazing tall trees hundreds years old, the building looked modern. However we were not able to raise the attention of the staff, there was a note on the door saying we should call a number - but how do we do that if we don;t have cell or wifi connections in a new country...

"Great food, nice atmosphere"

"First of all, upon checking-in the front desk staff informed me that my reservation did not include breakfast. Which I know I had booked inclusive of breakfast, I was asked to provide the evidence which I did immediately, and later asked to submit the information via email. I never received a response and has to inquire several times what is the status with my issue. At last I was informed that it was approved and my stay included breakfast (after inquiring about 8 times), however EVERY morning...

"For a one week stay, it worked good for us and enjoyed the small restaurant. For me, the only thing I did not like is the strange Dutch toilets which are popular in Suriname. "

"Hele fijne gastvrouw en gastheer, behulpzaam: ze belden telkens een taxi voor ons, gaven tips voor trips, ze zijn erg vriendelijk en belangstellend, je voelde je er thuis! Kleinschalig, goed zwembad! Om met plezier terug te komen. Wel taxi nodig voor de binnenstad, verder geen probleem en ook goedkoop."
