Paramaribo 3 Stars Hotels

"My stay had a negative start when the front desk demanded a payment of utilities at check in. I had already pre-paid for my stay, so this was an unwelcome request. I have never had a hotel ask me to pay utilities. It seems like that should be included in the price of the room. Other than that negative experience, the hotel was beautiful and I had a great experience."

"First of all, upon checking-in the front desk staff informed me that my reservation did not include breakfast. Which I know I had booked inclusive of breakfast, I was asked to provide the evidence which I did immediately, and later asked to submit the information via email. I never received a response and has to inquire several times what is the status with my issue. At last I was informed that it was approved and my stay included breakfast (after inquiring about 8 times), however EVERY morning...

"We hadden een eenvoudige kamer geboekt en bij inchecken bleek dat er een fout in de boeking was gemaakt, werden voor 1 nacht in een soort veredelde bezemkast gestopt zonder daglicht en geen licht in de badkamer. Volgende middag naar de definitieve kamer. Hier was wel daglicht en licht in de badkamer maar de hygiëne was bedroevend slecht , in de badkamer overal schimmel en vieze resten als gevolg van lekkages. "Een hele fijne en rustige omgeving. Het huisje is eenvoudig maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Prachtig uitzicht op de rivier, vanaf je terras! Hele lieve gastvrouw die goed voor je zorgt. Dit is een aanrader als je de rust wilt opzoeken zonder ver te zijn van Paramaribo."
