My experience at this space was very horrible horrible horrible horrible such a big hotel but no understanding when it comes to the customer service. My experience with me and my two kids were so horrible. I book a one room with double beds and when I reached there, they told me that I have to add my kids and if I cannot pay for my kids is additional 400 and something dollars very horrible.

I booked this hotel, because I wanted to experience the street party on New Year’s Eve from close by. Service: personal well trained and trying their best however, management is all over them, they look stressed. Room: cleans eventhough it is a 5 star hotel AND the most expensive hotel in Suriname, the mini bar is not free. Restaurant/pool: at first a very nice view, but around midday there is no place to hide on the balcony, exept for the pool beds, if there is none left, you don’t have a choice but to either sit in the diner area or just burn in the sun. Menu: very simple, few main courses if you are staying more than one night, you might as well eat at a restaurant outside of the hotel. When it come to the food, some dishes get 5 stars and some barely 3 stars. Bar: good alcoholic beverages, few healthy options, eventhough there is a pool there and a hot sun right there, don’t ask for a pitcher, you will have to buy a bottle of water. And if you order an expensive drink, they first stare at you and wonder if you’re going to be able to pay for it. Breakfast 3 stars but 5 stars for the once serving. I gave it an overall 2 because I didn’t like the interaction between management and their staff and I did not like the interaction of Some managers and the group I was with. Btw, if your second name is hospitality, I would think you get the best of the best. However even the best seat is “promised”. price quality ratio, moderate, very….
