"I arrived late at night. The night watchman let me in. When he opened the door at the street I was alarmed to see what looked like a rather messy backyard, with a large tent-like structure and a concrete chiminea, as well as drums, odd sculptures and used mats lying about. He took me to a ground floor room and I was alarmed to see that it had no windows except for a large one that that had to remain curtained because it looked out to the indoor sitting area I had just walked through. "Our stay at Grand Fiesta Americana was nice!! The beds and pillows were comfy. The food was excellent and their staff were helpful and nice. The only downside there wasn't a pool to come to relax to after a day of exploration, but overall it was an excellent stay"

"The hotel was beautiful, the staff went above and beyond to make sure you had everything you need! Never had to wait for a table at dinner, always a great spot at the beach. It's wonderfully organized. We went in April and the weather was 85 and breezy. Ocean was clear and the sand was soft and white! Excellent entertainment options. Family friendly with activities for the kids. We will definitely be back!"

"All employees, especially at the front desk and restaurants, were very friendly and we all laughed at our attempts at Spanish. View of the ocean from the balcony was nice, pools are all comfortably warm. The beach is nice although we couldn't swim bc the waves are really rough. Walking to the harbor for restaurants, shopping, etc didn't take long. Overall loved this place so much we came back a second time. Not sure how this compares to resorts closer to the airport. "First let me say this about the property the staff was outstanding the food was pretty good pretty much serve them the same thing every day, a lot of wildlife, what I didn't like about the property it's too far spread out a lot of walking overall out of righteous property at a 7 1/2 8"
