The villas were beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. The food was truly amazing — Chef Jitendra prepared delicious and tasty meals every time. A special thanks to Bala from the F&B team for his excellent service, Tammana, our island host, for taking great care of us throughout our stay, and Manan from housekeeping for keeping our villa spotless and well maintained. "The hotel in general exceeded my expectations. As a road warrior I typically end up staying at Hampton inn type properties. Unima Grand is the Hampton inn of Male. Great familiar like environment to make you feel comfortable. The staff connected via WhatsApp prior to arrival at to make the transfer from the airport to hotel seamless. Check in was smooth with formalities filled out while I waited at the airport. Breakfast and the on site restaurant was exceptional! Lots of fresh local offerings at a very good price. Only 2 areas for improvement. Wifi was limited to 1 device at a time. My door had some issue with the lock. Possibly a low battery. Again, nothing really to complain about."
