Airport pick-up was really efficient as was check-in. All staff in the hotel were very friendly, professional and helpful. Room had everything that you need for a stop over - TV, minibar, aircon. The room, bed and duvet were on the small side. It was very loud outside throughout the night, however part of this was due to the extra prayer calls during Ramadan. The rooftop restaurant had very good food and very good service, for a very affordable price.

The hotel in general exceeded my expectations. As a road warrior I typically end up staying at Hampton inn type properties. Unima Grand is the Hampton inn of Male. Great familiar like environment to make you feel comfortable. The staff connected via WhatsApp prior to arrival at to make the transfer from the airport to hotel seamless. Check in was smooth with formalities filled out while I waited at the airport. Breakfast and the on site restaurant was exceptional! Lots of fresh local offerings at a very good price. Only 2 areas for improvement. Wifi was limited to 1 device at a time. My door had some issue with the lock. Possibly a low battery. Again, nothing really to complain about.

Excellent staff and location. Food at their restaurant on 10th floor is the amazing. Our room rate included complimentary breakfast had lots of variety food. We were welcomed and picked up from airport by Mohd Shaheen who gave lots of suggestions on activities. Will definitely stay again.
