"We just picked a bad week to go. We got hit by a storm, the power went out twice. Otherwise, my experience was ok. "

"From the drive up to the day we had to leave, we enjoyed this stay. Royal Lahaina is situated nicely off a golf course and right on the beach, which allows it to feel like a more secluded resort then some of the other nearby resorts. Recently remodeled but has a great feel to the whole building. Staff was great throughout the whole resort. Enjoyed each meal we had at the restaurant on site, and it was great being able to walk just steps away and listen to live music every night. Could not recommend enough and we are already planning our next trip back. "

"Great staff and service, it’s not always hotels fault but there was cockroaches in room. A lot of homeless nearby as well on McDonald’s side. It’s good for the price and close to airport. Breakfast switched up everyday "

"The location is great, and the place is clean, though it is definitely a bit dated. As others have mentioned, the noise level can be quite high. There was even a man playing the trumpet on the street at 6 a.m. Earplugs are highly recommended."

"The staff are very helpful, when I needed my seats changed they were changed promptly same day. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working, staff stated that they were waiting on parts. But the pool was clean, the breakfast was good with a variety of options, the weather was nice we enjoyed our state."

"We booked this place when our flight was cancelled and there was no place closer to the airport available or accessible due to flooding. I wish we had more time to enjoy it. The staff was nice enough to wave the resort and parking fees and gave us some credit for breakfast under the circumstances. It was an amazing place with multiple pools and had live flamingos of all things. Definitely plan to stay here next time we are in Maui. "

"Room was clean. One of the guys upfront was great! The other was not so nice. Room service was very kind. Water was outside our door which was from the outside door being opened. We were offered to switch rooms the last night of our stay and those people were very nice. The nice guy up front was one of them. :)"
