"I tell everyone I meet that heaven is going to be just like the Hollander Hotel, only with cats. I can't say enough about this hotel! The pool area is a dream come true, fountains on either side of the pool, plenty of shade (if you want that), also plenty of sun and lounge chairs and topiaries and fresh towels and a fully stocked Pool Bar just steps away. The hotel itself is a fantasy trip back in time to Old South Florida, with vintage pictures and decorations, and a veranda across the front....

"Just completed a stay at the Bellwether. This was our 3rd trip to St Pete Beach and this was by far our favorite hotel. Always able to snag a a complimentary cabana or umbrella… complimentary ice cold water/bottled water and drinks coupons was a pleasant surprise. Staff was always friendly and accommodating. Definitely more of a resort feel than any other hotel we’ve stayed at in the area."

"The only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to the beach. This "resort" was by far in the worst shape I have ever seen. There were gaps between the front door and door frame, the bathroom was chipped and falling apart, and the entire area was in ruins. Thankfully, we were refunded. "
