"The room was good and the service was excellent overall. However, I had one issue. When I extended my stay online, it seemed like the request wasn’t received or was ignored. I was woken up while sleeping and asked to come down to reception, even though it wasn’t urgent and could have waited. Since there’s a phone in the room, it would have been more considerate if they had called first."

"We had a great stay at the Citadines on Bourke Melbourne!! We loved the location as it was close to everything in the CBD. The room itself was spacious and very clean. There are lots of elevators so getting up and down was easy. The only issue I had was scented fragrance that hits you as you walk into the building and lobby (way too strong). "

"The hotel was very nice. Moreover, we were pleasantly surprised to find the immense shopping center below the hotel. 3 floors of shopping and eating...which we did... One weird thing however, is the bathroom showers....No way to keep the floors dry with the design of the curb free showers. we used every towel, every day just to keep the floor dry. We were worried about slipping on the slick tile after it got wet. To be fair, our hotel in Melbourne was the same...so perhaps an Australia thing?? BUT, that weird detail did not stop us from loving the location, the room, and the excellent sleep we had in the super comfy beds. Price wise the per night rate was reasonable. Don't sign up for the breakfast however...very expensive...You can eat at hundreds of other places within walking distance. "
