"Such a unique hotel! So eclectic and warm at the same time. Service was amazing and the room was impeccable. I really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it. "
"We loved our one night stay at Caoe heritage Hotel! Not only for its convenient central location and quietness, but also for its decor and charm, and most importantly for the warm hearted service we received. It happened to be one of us’s birthday. Sam and Bonford went out of their way to make the birthday girl feel happy and special. Love it, wish we stayed longer. "
"The staff at this charming, boutique establishment were the most welcoming and helpful I have ever encountered, with a level of service and hospitality exceeding any reasonable expectations."
"Loved my stay at Rouge on Rose. Staff extremely friendly, welcoming and supportive. Room was great! Very large, especially the bathroom with the lovely tub as well. Very conveniently located, walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. Already booked another stay. "
"We absolutely loved our stay at Parker Cottage. Our room, Fitzroy was spacious, comfortable and had everything we could need for our 4 night stay. Marion, Tomas, Jameson, Bartwell and all the staff couldn’t have made us feel more welcome and gave us all the information we needed to make the most of our stay in Cape Town. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We couldn’t recommend our stay enough - you won’t be disappointed if you book here! "
"Loved staying at this hostel. Very centrally located and the staff (Doniel , Brownyn and Arthur) were terrific and very helpful. Would definitely stay here during my next visit to Cape Town."

"I had the best ever check-in, in my long history of staying in five-star hotels, at the Taj by Zim. She provided a high-level personalised service. Even after I had checked in, she was always trying to provide something extra for me whenever she saw me. She also ensured I also received good service at the restaurant.
The hotel in general is good, clean and comfortable. The heated indoor swimming pool is a winner. I really liked it. I had issues with my shower, which was fixed, and the tap in the wash basin which was not dispensing hot water. This was not fully fixed.
My only issue was with the provision of Vegan food during dinner. The general understanding of Veganism was limited. The burger is stated to be Vegan in the menu when it is not; it has yoghurt in it. This was day one. After explaining clearly I was Vegan, on day two, I got a soup with cheese in it. When the 'Vegan' meal arrived - it came with yoghurt as a side dish. It was only on day three that everything fell into place. Zim's interventions for me helped. The service staff were very good and always pleasant and supportive. It was a kitchen issue. I sat for almost two hours waiting for two dishes.
Fortunately, this did not happen during breakfast as Chef Abdul showed me all the Vegan dishes daily.
The Taj has a reputation which precedes itself. When I told locals I was going to stay in The Taj, they always responded with: "That's a very good hotel." It is also well located. "
"Our first visit to Cape Town and so glad we found this boutique hotel. Superb service, food (Gigi restaurant) and comfort. The quality and variety of breakfast was unbeatable! Excellent location for visiting Company's Garden, castle, Bo-Kaap, District 6 museum and short taxi ride to V&A Waterfront.
All staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and valued. Chloe, in particular, was really helpful and even gave us a snack-pack for our drive out to Cape Point. Not your typical "tourist" hotel .... definitly in the hub of the city but we felt very safe there. For anyone travelling by hire car, they offer valet parking (which we used for one night at no extra charge). Very good value for money in every aspect."
