"We loved our stay. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the pool. Liked having a restaurant on the property and how close it was to town, yet secluded and quiet. Highly recommend. Also recommend Pure Trek for canyoning and Arenal Mundo Adventura for Zip Line. Wished the kitchenette was more equipped with utensils for cooking like large spoon, spatula, mixing bowl, knife, etc. "

"We just stayed at the Fortuna Retreat for 3 nights with our kids. We had a premium room with mountain view. I wanted to start by saying that the service was excellent even from before we reached the hotel. The communication with them was pretty fast. Thank you to Beverley and Alphonso for making our stay amazing and being very helful. For the price we paid, we just wished they had more amenities. It would have been nice to have some body cream and at least some tissues in the rooms. We didn't check properly before we booked but it would have been nice to have a king bed for the price and there was plenty of space avaliable for one. "

"If you want to wake up to the sound of birds singing and a large walking path through the jungle without all the crowds - this is the hotel for you. Our stay at Hotel Faro Arenal was absolutely fantastic, from the amazing staff to the delicious food. Our cabin was comfortable and cozy, with plenty of fresh linens and towels and our own personal AC unit that worked so well (but was often not needed thanks to the shade from the surrounding trees and large personal porch to relax). We loved the location, centrally located to La Fortuna and the national parks and adventure zones, while remaining quiet and surrounded by friendly locals and backed onto protected land. What a beautiful oasis. We can't wait to be back. "

"The hotel was very nice and relaxing. What really set it apart was the hospitality. The staff is so accommodating and welcoming. Genesis and Kevin in particular really went above and beyond. Kevin recommended some great areas to check out locally and Genesis did as well. Make sure to ask Genesis to make you her signature drink. It is the yummiest Jamaica drink I’ve ever had! "

"A nice little hotel in a great location in La Fortuna. We stayed 2 rainy nights and the hotel was easy to get to the major attractions in La Fortuna. Our room was clean and comfortable but it would have been nice if they had added some seating and tables inside for the rainy days. The breakfast was delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. They even packed us an early breakfast for the day we headed out early to see the Mistico Hanging Bridges. Overall a nice hotel for a short stay in La Fortuna."
