"Check in was very easy. The room was clean with big comfy bed, lovely shower and huge white fluffy towels. The room had a coffee machine but also toaster and kettle in the cupboard with loads more pods etc in reception if all those in the room were used. The only thing to be aware of is as we had used a credit card to book but then paid on arrival we noticed it had been charged twice. On querying we were told that one of the payments was a security deposit and would be refunded once the room had been cleaned on departure. The person on reception was very helpful in explaining this and true to their word one of the payments was refunded by lunchtime on the day of departure. Would recommend this hotel."

"It was so nice & quiet I had a great sleep I arrived late at night, so I didn't make it to the pool. It looked like the kids were having so much fun when we checked in. I would recommend this place to family and friends for sure ❤️"

"Despite the external appearance of this hotel being a little tired and weather worn, we were pleasantly surprised with our room. It was large, clean, reasonably nicely decorated, with good AC, well-maintained bathroom and very comfortable bed and bedding. The bathroom products (Dove) were appreciated, and plentiful in large pump bottles, and the towels were large enough and in good condition. These little things matter. It was excellent value and we would stay again if passing through port alberni."
