The restaurant and bar closed at 9pm. It was march break , so, Pretty early. The hotel was packed apparently so why wouldnt you be open a little later. . This place could definitely use an upgrade . Staff was kind . Stay was underwhelming.

The room we stayed in which was a double queen was pretty much like staying at Motel 6. Outdoor rooms, veryuncomfortable bed, bed frame sticks way out, the rough cheap wrinkled sheets, and awful pillows. You will need earplugs or noise cancelling headphones for the cooling /heating fan - but you will still hear it. Unfriendly staff on check out. Probabley because they are afraid to ask how your stay was They are certainly letting things go down hill Stay at on of the little oceanfront motels they seem to care about there properties In summary… You’ve been Warmed If you are looking for a good sleep don’t stay Maybe the oceanfront one bedroom suite is better … maybe ??

Our stay at the beach club was excellent. We stayed for four nights in an ocean view suite. The room was clean with a small kitchenette, wardrobe, large tub in an adequate bathroom, along with a generous sized balcony overlooking the bay/beach. Two queen bed and a typical television served us well. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub. These are perfectly sized, clean, and easily accessed. The one thing that was confusing was where the towels were kept as one day they were in the lobby and the next in the fitness room. It would make sense to keep them in the pool area. We ate at the restaurant one night for dinner. The kids meals were great and better value than say your typical Boston pizza kids meal. The food was delicious and service amazing. The location of the beach club is perfect. We could walk to the grocery store, the community park, mini golf around the corner, and the main part of town was 5 minutes walk. We drove to Coombs in 10 minutes and we felt super close to everything we needed. We will stay here again. Until then, you should too. You will not get a nicer place located in such a wonderful spot for any less.

One of the best places to stay in Vancouver Island I just wish that the beds were a little firmer as ours was a lot like a hammock. At first I thought it was just the one that I was on but both of the beds in our room were exactly the same and are in need of urgent care and replacement.

We had a one bedroom suite. It had a full kitchen that was well supplied. The kids skept on a pull out couch. The pool was great for the kids. It was very busy in the evenings. The hot tub had extreme fluctuating temperatures. The staff was great but not extra. They couldnt answer questions about activities around. The TVs were old and regular cable. We tried our DVD player but found out we could borrow a Roku stick and use our own Netflix account. Bring your own streaming stick. For the beauty and cleanliness of the resort the toilet paper, tissue and paper towel were so cheap, thin and ineffective. It seemed to not fit the quality of everything else.

Unfortunately, we were there on Sprng Break. We came there for our 40th Anniversary celebration. Kids were running around screaming even at the restaurant. Could not use the pool as it was packed with kids.
