So nice to have a spot we could do laundry mid-camping vacation and wait out some rain. The kitchen was great, the room was spacious and clean. Would definitely stay again.

Our room was older and showed some wear, most concerning was an active and highly-populated wasp's nest in the soffit above the door to the room which was not attended to, despite reporting it - one staff member said no maintenance staff are on site - commenting that he thought that wasn't good, as there were also wasp nests identified by hand-written signs, "Angry wasps" . . . The other concern is that only 3 electrical outlets were accessible, and only the bottom receptacle worked in each of them. No GFI outlet in the bathroom, so the hair dryer had to be plugged in behind the TV, about 5.5 feet high. The freezer compartment of the fridge was not functioning properly, and water dripped down the back wall of the fridge that needed to be wiped out a few times, as it collected in the bottom of the fridge. There is only a cooktop and a microwave. There were only 2 folding lawn chairs on the patio, both in poor condition. The playground equipment is outdated - wood structures with the usual slivers and poor design that caused another family's child to whack her head off a 2x4 that knocked her off her feet and straight back onto her butt. The pool was pushed to the limit on the Saturday with birthday party groups, so the water was green and littered with leaves and insects, and a slime of greasy film on the pool edges by about 2:00 pm. Overall, it's just an older resort that is trying to do its best for families on a budget. Kids don't really notice these things, so all smiles.

Booked in a clinch and was only available option at time, but was a great experience and plan to go back again. Staff were friendly and helpful. The kids loved the onsite pool and waterslide, as well as mini golf! They provided propane for a firepit out the back patio and had a BBQ too! Pleasantly surprised.

Our 2nd time here. Kids had a blast with the waterpark, minigolf was fun. We have stayed in both the studio and the 2 bedroom suites and glad both have private patios for when the kids go to sleep. Definately will be coming back

I’ll start with the negative: Check-in is at 4 and we didn’t get checked in until 5 because the room was still being cleaned. I normally wouldn’t mind too much but I had a wedding rehearsal at 4:30 and my outfit was packed in my suitcase- I had planned to check in at 4 and get ready. But I had to dig my stuff out awkwardly in my car and change and get ready in the common bathroom at the RV section. Not ideal…they were kind about it all but still a pain in the butt. My husband ended having to unpack it all with our two kiddos running around. On our last day we were swimming in the pool and I slid in on the side instead of taking the stairs in and slid my foot over a sharp piece in the concrete and cut open my foot. I got out and it bled a bit so I just stayed out. Short but sweet dip in the pool. The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work…pretty hard to get ready for a wedding when I couldn’t see my hair I was styling. If I didn’t need to do any of the wedding stuff-none of this would have been an issue! The good: All the employees there were so lovely and friendly. The mini golfing was so fun and the kids loved it! My youngest got 2 holes in one! My kids also loved the pool slides and ice cream. The room was nice and clean. I found the beds very comfortable. The location is great. Very close to town or a quick 2 minute drive to the beach. Overall we loved it! Just. A few hiccups but I’m assuming won’t be an issue next time! We’ll be back

I always give this resort 5 stars. Great place for a family to go. Lots to do and you have a chance to meet lots of other families with kids. If you are social and have kids that like to make new friends this is the place for you. Definitely worth a visit!

We had an amazing time. We wish we could’ve stayed longer! The staff were friendly from check in Dennis great guy to check-out, Sierra she was very kind. I would highly recommend Riverside Resort especially if you’re traveling with kids. We stayed In the small cabin, me my wife and four children (6,7,13,15) and we must say it was very comfortable. Water slide was awesome and with the beach right there this place checked all the boxes. Thanks again Riverside Resort
