"The hotel is next to a beautiful river set in lovely gardens. The rooms were clean and large with very nice furniture and plenty of clothing space. Breakfast was excellent and the location was within easy walking distance to the town. The staff were very friendly. Couldnt fault a thing"

"Set in a beautiful location amongst the trees just outside the town, but easily walkable to the pretty town centre. The hospitality was fantastic. Sean is so knowledgeable and helped us with lots of information about the wider area. He is also a super host and made us instantly comfortable. Breakfast was superb - we have stayed in quite a few B&Bs in north Wales now, and this is definitely the best breakfast we've experienced on our trip. We also had the company of a host of garden birds to watch at breakfast, including the resident woodpecker -what more could you want?"

"We had a comfortable stay, and the location was very convenient for exploring the city. Although the room wasn't particularly large, it had been recently renovated, featured a double bed, and was clean, comfortable, and well suited to our short stay. This is a straightforward, no-frills property with the essential amenities, and it met our expectations. A good continental buffet as well as freshly cooked hot breakfast options available to order, providing a great start to the day. For international travellers, it's worth noting that air conditioning is not a standard feature in many UK hotels, so it's worth checking before booking if this is important to you. A fan is provided for warmer weather. Similarly, bar fridges are not commonly included in UK hotel rooms, so it's best not to expect one. As the property is an older building, some noise transfer is to be expected. Sound carries along the corridors, and the timber floors do creak in places. Overall, we felt the property offered good value for money in a convenient location. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, character-filled place to stay and appreciate the charm of an older building, this is a solid option."

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay. Our bedroom was quite basic but the car parking was good and the breakfast was great. Staff were lovely. A good position just on the outskirts of the town with a 5-10 minute walk to the centre."
