Good location to eating places and shops downtown.
Room was clean. Nothing fancy. But good. Location to Legends Steakhouse huge plus. Would recommend. You want more amenities? Spend more money

We have stay there in the pass alot but the room was not clean at all this time and the noise upstairs was bad. The staff in the front at the desk as always been nice. It is got a places to eat nextdoor that is Legends that is nice to have a place to eat. And the car got keyed while it was there in the parking lot that night by someone. I asked them to look on the camera but we never heard back from them about it.
This motel exceeded my expectations. The room I stayed in during Mule Days 206) was right up the steps on the corner. There was very little foot traffic in front of my door and I left the door open some because the weather was nice. The room was clean, if a little worn and dated, and the towels were replaced daily. It was convenient to everything I wanted to do in Columbia, TN, downtown, food and festival.
I planned ahead and brought my own coffee maker and coffee plus my favorite pillow which was good since there was not a coffee pot in the room. The bed was comfortable and the sheets appeared clean, so sleep was good!
Breakfast was cereal with toast or bagel, so I went elsewhere. One night when I needed plastic wear to eat my takeout the desk clerk got out what I needed.
To have booked my stay on the day of the beginning of a festival weekend, it turned out very well.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to guests' needs, and the breakfast is delicious there. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for here value-wise, and the outdoor corridors do smell like marijuana, especially the common areas. The room was not too bad at all, but there were no complimentary toiletries.

The room was clean and the bedding appeared fresh as did the towels. The staff was helpful and courteous. The Town Square was an added bonus. I would stay at Richland Inn in Columbia, TN again.
Hotel is OLD but in very good repair. Don’t expect Hyatt/Hilton amenities. You’ll find an old style motel with good effort at cleanliness. Staff was very good with a late night check in.
Holes in the bath towels, tub is peeling rusty handles on drawers. We will not be staying here again. Yes this is an older property and this was our 2nd time staying it, the 1st was a good experience but this will be our last. When I when to give the front desk the towel to get one with no holes in it, the guy did seem to give a care about this experience so far. Will not be recommending this place to anyone again
