"The best breakfast we’ve ever had in a hotel. The facilities were excellent. The communal areas had lovely artwork, sculptures and decoration. The restaurant was excellent too. We loved the local and how easy it was to walk into Chester - so we didn’t need to get in the car quite so often, which made the holiday more relaxing. The rooftop car parking was easily accessible from the hotel too. The room was comfortably big enough for 4 people and we liked the large 55inch TV. Our only note - in our room - 307 - some of the wallpaper was peeling and the paint was a bit tired."

"It was an average larger hotel but we felt a bit disappointed by our stay, unlikely to return. The room was next to a dual carriage way and noisy with the cars/smelt of petrol fumes, when requesting a change of room we didn’t get much response. The place was generally a bit run down. The breakfast was ok but limited to traditional cereals and an average cooked breakfast- little choice for vegetarians, continentals or those who wish for more healthy options. "

"We have have left a day early due to the single beds giving us back ache if they had of been bigger single beds of even better king sized beds we would have stayed the extra night and day. The staff are extremely friendly and and helpful. If I was to go back I would book through the hotel for a better deal and a view "
