"Conveniently located near the Old Charleston Market, the Meeting Street Inn is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is very good and the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. We paid $25 per night to park in their shared lot two blocks away which we found to be a tremendous bargain in the area. Hyman's Seafood is a block away and is fabulous! My only disappointment: we didn't encounter a ghost."

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Loutrel! From the moment we arrived, the hotel smelled amazing and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms were beautiful, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and it was the perfect place to return to and relax after a full day of exploring Charleston. We especially loved the complimentary happy hour and snacks — such a thoughtful touch and a great way to unwind in the evenings. The Loutrel made our Charleston trip even more enjoyable, and we would absolutely stay here again!"
